Lost in the Trees debut “Past Life” music video

Lost in the Trees‘ new album, Past Life, will be out on February 18, 2014, but the band has teased glimpses of the music in preparation of the big day. Today we see the most exciting offering yet, the debut of the title track and the accompanying music video, directed by Dan Huiting and Andre Durand. The video follows a bright eyed protaganist through a chilling winter landscape of light, fog and cornfields. It is a perfect visual for the pulsing and urgent song, certainly the most gripping track Lost in the Trees has ever released. Lost in the Trees offer another glimpse into their highly anticipated Past Life album, out February 18, 2014, but available now for pre-order. Rolling Stone debuts Lost in the Trees lyric video, new album announced

Lost in the Trees announced their new album today, debuting a lyric video for the first single with Rolling Stone. Past Life will be out February 18, 2014 via Trekky Records/ANTI-. Watch the lyric video for “Rites” now, and stay tuned for more info on Past Life!

Lost in the Trees & Loamlands to play Carrboro Block Party

On Sunday May 5th Cat’s Cradle will present Carrboro Block Party, a free concert in its parking lot featuring Lost in the Trees, The Love Language, and Loamlands. The community festival will include additional live music inside Cat’s Cradle and The ArtsCenter, food trucks, beer and more. The gates open at 4pm and the music begins at 4:30pm.

While the event is free to the general public, vouchers guaranteeing entry will be available starting April 9th. There is a limit of two vouchers per person and the voucher guarantees entry to its holder before 6pm. Carrboro Block Party is sponsored by Carolina Brewery, ReverbNation, Town of Carrboro, Fifth Season Gardening Co., Shuffle Magazine, The ArtsCenter, and Milltown.
